Hamvention Contest, Top Band Dinner Tickets now Available

Tickets are now available for the 27th annual Dayton Contest Dinner, Saturday, May 18, 2019, at the Crowne Plaza in downtown Dayton, Ohio. The North Coast Contesters sponsor the event. Featured speaker will be Ted Rappaport, N9NB. The 2019 CQ Contest Hall of Fame inductees will be announced during the Dayton Contest Dinner. A social hour will begin at 5:30 PM, with dinner at 6:30 PM.

The new region was AR2732, and the area of the spot tripled each day, beginning at 10 millionths of the visible solar disc, then tripling to 30 on Tuesday, and 90 on Wednesday. FCC Outlines Impact on its Operations of Potential Funding Lapse

FCC Reaches $900,000 Settlement in Unauthorized Satellite Launch Case

The FCC has settled an investigation into an alleged unauthorized launch and operation of small satellites by Swarm Technologies. The company agreed to a Consent Decree that included a $900,000 penalty, an extended period of FCC oversight, and a requirement of pre-launch notices to the FCC, among other stipulations.
